Just letting you guys know some recently fucked up issues in the LPU over the past year.

-Did you know almost noone outside of the USA received an LPU 5.0 newsletter? Yep, and 7.0 is about to debut. Wow.
-There are currently over 100 international members that have posted in the past year about not receiving their packages on the LPU. What the hell is taking them so long? People have been waiting for over FIVE MONTHS for their packages. What is going on??
-The LPU guarantees you a presale for every show. Linkin Park announced a London 2008 show recently and then scheduled a second show. There was no presale for the 2nd show. There was no mention of it on the LPU at all.
-At Download Festival this year, over half of the LPU M&Gers were not able to attend the M&G, with only about 12 being able to attend. How come you ask? When the LPUers went to the box office as instructed, they were told there was no LP M&G. Thanks for informing the venues LPU.
-LPU also tells you there are 100 people for a M&G. How come in Bangkok, 67 LPUers applied and only 27 got accepted? Yep. The label has been giving away passes to radio stations and even handing them out to security for free at concerts, therefore limiting the number LPUers that get into the M&Gs by a lot.
-The LPU FAQ for both the site and the M&Gs is outdated by several YEARS.
-Lastly, not to mention, the site is hardly updated. Why is that you ask? It took the staff until October 2007 for them to remove an update on several pages that said Rob Bourdon would be chatting with the LPU in February 2007. Not to mention, the chat was considered a flop because of how vague Rob would answer questions. Derek from LPA even went as far as to say that it wasn't the real Rob. Come on LPU, give your fans something. The photos are barely EVER updated and the media from previous years has been removed from the site.

It's been one year exactly and I still haven't had the simple 'remove the 1 from my username' solution fixed.

what the HELL is going on with LPU staff? they are obviously VERY uncapable of handling this website. jesus, put dereklp, astat and I at the LPU HQ and we'll hire some staff and get the entire LPU fixed. no more screwed up M&Gs, no more screwed up packages - we'll package them by hand.

how LONG is it going to take to EDIT A USERNAME? I'm SICK of sending in support tickets, I've filed like 5 of them and PMing mods and staff isn't helping. how damn long will it take for something to get fixed???

why are people not receiving packages? have they not been sent out? are they sitting on the floor at the LPU being disregarded? we seriously need some answers because this fanclub is going to hell. just look around.
